If you smoke less than this start with step 2, the medium size Nicotinell TTS20 (14mg / 24 hour) patches. Do not start with Step , the small size (7mg / 24 hour) patches; they should only be used to complete the treatment. Read enclosed instructions carefully before use Nicotinell patches can help you stop smoking. When you apply the patch, nicotine passes through your skin and into the body, replacing the nicotine you would normally get from smoking, The patches come in three sizes.
