Otrivine Mu-Cron tablets provide relief from the symptoms of colds and flu including feverishness, aches and pains, headache and blocked nose and sinuses, They have been specially formulated to avoid making you feel drowsy.
INGREDIENTS
Microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, sodium lauryl sulphate, magnesium stearate, colour: quinoline yellow E104.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Each tablet contains: Paracetamol Ph. Eur. 500mg, Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride BP 60mg,
WARNINGS
Do not give to children under 6 years.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Contains Paracetamol - do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products.
Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, because if the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
Do not take with any other decongestant containing products.
Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Do not take take this medicine for more than 7 days unless your doctor agrees.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Do not take if allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have liver or kidney disease, an overactive thyroid, heart or prostate problems, high blood pressure (partially if due to a tumour near the kidney), diabetes, glaucoma or alcohol dependence.
Do not take if you are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors for depression or have taken then in the last 14 days, or if you are taking other medicines containing pseudo-ephedrine.
Do not take if pregnant.
Talk to your pharmacist or doctor if you are breast feeding.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking heart drugs, drugs for high blood pressure (e.g. beryllium bethanidine, guanethidine, debrisoquine, methyldopa or beta blockers), blood thinners (e.g.. warfarin), tricyclic antidepressants or non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (e.g. aspirin ibuprofen).
Anticonvulsants and oral contraceptives may reduce the effect of paracetamol.
Avoid alcohol.
This medicine may cause nausea, vomiting, headache, restlessness, tremor, sleeplessness fast or irregular heart beat, high blood pressure, palpitations skin rashes and occasionally urinary retention in men.
Rarely, blood reactions or hallucinations may occur. If concerned or anything else unusual happens, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.
