Capasal therapeutic shampoo is a medicated shampoo for the treatment of dry, scaly scalp conditions such as seborrhoeic eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff, psoriasis and cradle cap in children.
* Golden brown therapeutic shampoo containing: Salicylic acid 0.5% w/w, Coconut oil 1.0% w/w, Distilled coal tar 1.0% w/w
* For the treatment of dry, scaly scalp conditions such as seborrhoeic eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff, psoriasis and cradle cap in children.
* May also be used to remove previous scalp applications.
* Adults, elderly and children: use Capasal as a shampoo, daily if necessary.
About the ingredients
* Coal Tar: Coal tar is a common ingredient in dry scalp or dry skin treatments. Dry scalp conditions are often caused by an excess of hard, scaly skin. The coal tar in Capasal breaks down this skin and thus makes the scalp softer and less scaly. In addition, coal tar helps reduce itching and has an antiseptic effect, which helps to calm fungal and microbial infections that can afflict psoriasis sufferers.
* Salicylic acid: The salicylic acid in Capasal works in a similar way to the coal tar, breaking down hard, scaly skin.
* Coconut oil: Coconut oil is a natural moisturiser and soothes the skin on the scalp.
